November Feature Essay |

What is Thermal Imaging? Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (or Thermography) creates images that illustrate heat patterns in the body. The thermal images are analyzed for abnormalities which may be signs of disease in the body. Inflammation is a precursor to many diseases such as cancer, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and high blood pressure.
Earlier detection of inflammation is critical-you can prevent or intervene in the development process before it turns into disease.
Inflammation can also be reduced by dietary changes, supplements, detoxification, stress-reduction, massage and acupuncture.
Measuring inflammation through thermal imaging on a consistent basis can also be very effective at detecting the severity. The earliest detection and prevention are the most important factors. |

The picture on the cover of this month’s Vitality Journal represents a thermogram of a patient of Dr. Paul V. Gallo.
The patient is a female in her mid-20s in generally good health who was complaining of stiffness and tenderness in her middle back under the shoulder blades.
She also stated that she had stiffness in her lower back, her neck bilaterally in the upper trapezius area, as well as soreness in her triceps area.
The first scan was taken before a Bio Cranial procedure.
The second scan was taken within 5 minutes of a Bio Cranial procedure which was her first Bio Cranial procedure ever. She felt immediate improvement!
The last thermo scan was taken after her second Bio Cranial procedure, which was about 10 minutes after the first procedure.
It has been about a month since her last treatment and her symptoms of stiffness and tenderness in the areas mentioned are no longer present! |
